K. Lee Brown is a writer of many forms—essays, poems, children’s tales, and meditations for the soul. He tells stories that whisper truth, stir the heart, and make space for the sacred mystery of becoming whole.
For years, Lee has taught in churches, schools, and gatherings across the globe, inviting people into deeper conversations about spiritual formation, identity, mental and emotional healing, and the beauty of a life formed in love.
Once a pastor and nonprofit leader, Lee’s journey eventually led him into the sacred space of psychotherapy. There, he found a quiet language for human ache—and the tools to help others heal from the inside out.
Today, he directs Whole Soul Counsel, a nonprofit devoted to restoring the heart, and continues his work as an author and speaker. Whether through prose or poetry, he writes to name the ache, honor the questions, and call the weary home.
His work lives at the intersection of spirit and story, often drawing from Scripture, silence, and the long arc of redemption.
Lee’s upcoming book, The Invitation, releases in Summer 2025. It is his first release in nearly a decade since his out-of-print debut, Jesus Who?—marking not just a return, but a rebirth.
